“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming “Wow! What a Ride!”
― Hunter S. Thompson

US photographer Jerome Liebling who has died aged 87, had an unrivalled eye for the everyday. His quietly powerful portraits of ordinary people, a selection of which can be seen here, were informed by a desire to ‘bring back pieces of the world as honestly as possible’, a mantra that inspired several generations of socially conscious photographers.
Today in the studio we filmed a variety of show material. There’s a new 30 second in two styles, a 60 second clip, a variety show of favorites, a Sneak Peek of a few new shows, and lots of other surprises and exciting shows.
Everything about the show is continually improving. We are working hard to develop a layered interesting presentation on each show. Our guests this season are top notch experts and leading figures. I am very excited to have you see the shows soon. We introduce AARP’s new campaign to educate women 45 and older to Decide Create and Share their plans for their own futures. We met with international experts on design, dementia, driving, nutrition, sex, romance, beauty, and finance. Shows will begin airing across the country on a growing list of stations now topping 215 and reaching over 9 million American households. Graceful Aging is the nation’s most popular downloaded show (www.pegmedia.org). Take a look yourself and see this uplifting and informative show. Our aim with every show is to improve at least one life; make it yours!

PHONE HOME
“Talk about a bare bones cell phone, this puppy has no email, camera, texting, or ringtones. There’s no contract either, you just need a SIM card. Stripped to the essential ‘make a phone call’ feature, you can go anywhere and know you have global roaming.” - Katie, Better Living Through Design
